Cambridge Street Kitchen is looking for a new head chef to join and lead the small brigade of 7.
Situated in close proximity from Victoria Station, this seasonal British restaurant has 10 uniquely designed bedrooms, and a cocktail bar. This is the newest opening from the Artist Residence group, with two other hotels/restaurants in Brighton, Cornwall and plans for more to come.
The head chef we are looking for must be creative, as you will have full menu autonomy. It is an all day dining restaurant, so nothing too fancy, just delicious! Using the best of British, the menu has to be ingredients led and seasonal. A good understanding of seasonal ingredients is a must!
It is a relatively new kitchen, and is also open plan! A head chef with charisma is ideal as you can converse with guests.
We also host event and you must be able to work well under pressure, as there are times where it will be extremely busy! This is not a shouty kitchen and would like the head chef to have a good temperament.
Ideally the head chef should have previous experience working in Michelin or Rosette awarded restaurants and have a good understanding of high standards.
We are open to looking at senior sous chefs wanting to step up.
Salary is dependent on experience.
